Data you choose to process
Photo Home reads only the photos and videos allowed by your iOS Photos permission. It processes them when you create a backup task, preview media, or download a server file.
With Samba, files transfer directly between your iPhone and the server you configure. The developer does not receive your photos, videos, or Samba credentials.
With Baidu Netdisk, files transfer through Baidu's official API to the Baidu account you authorize. Baidu may retain and process that content under its own terms and privacy practices.
With Google Drive, files transfer through Google's official Drive API to the account you authorize. Photo Home requests the drive.file scope, which limits access to files created by the app or explicitly granted by you. Google's terms and privacy practices apply.
With OneDrive, files transfer through Microsoft Graph to the account you authorize. Photo Home requests Files.ReadWrite.AppFolder, limiting access to the app's own OneDrive folder. Microsoft's terms and privacy practices apply.
When you start a server-to-server backup, Photo Home temporarily downloads each selected file to the device and uploads it to the destination server and folder you choose. Temporary transfer files are removed after processing. Source files are not deleted.
Credentials, authorization, and local records
Samba passwords and Baidu, Google Drive, and OneDrive authorization tokens are stored in the iOS Keychain. Server settings, photo backup history, server-transfer history, selected backup ranges, and video playback positions are stored on your device.
The developer-operated Baidu authorization service processes authorization codes and tokens only as needed to complete sign-in or token refresh. Authorization handoff records expire within minutes and are deleted after exchange. To prevent abuse, the service temporarily keeps a one-way hash derived from the request IP address together with recent request timestamps; these security records are periodically cleaned and are not used for analytics, advertising, or tracking. Infrastructure providers, including the hosting provider and Cloudflare, may process standard network and security logs under their own terms. The authorization service does not receive backed-up photos or videos.
Sharing, advertising, and tracking
Photo Home has no advertising, does not track you across apps or websites, and does not sell personal data. Content is shared only with the storage service you deliberately select and providers required to deliver that function.
Retention, deletion, and choices
You can remove a configured server or cloud-drive authorization in the app to delete its Keychain credentials, and revoke Photos or Local Network access in iOS Settings. Deleting the app removes local configuration, history, and caches; remove servers and authorization before deleting the app. Backups stored on Samba, Baidu Netdisk, Google Drive, or OneDrive must be deleted separately from that storage service.
